Team Tokens: Your Ticket to Backing Your Favorites

In Robinos, to support your favorite teams, you'll need to acquire their "stock," referred to as team tokens. You can buy, sell, and trade these tokens at various points during the season!

Preseason

Once sales for a competition or league commence, traders can begin purchasing team tokens for each team. There are no limit caps, allowing traders to identify overbought or underbought tokens based on each team token's market cap.

All tokens are priced at 1 USDC to facilitate easy reference for all traders.

Trading During the Season

By this point, the presale period has ended, and all trading activities can start!

Traders who have already bought their team tokens during preseason sales will need to decide whether to hodl, buy, or release their team's performance tokens.

HODL

Traders might choose to hodl their team tokens for several reasons:

1. Their team is performing exceptionally well, and the prize pool allocation per team token will be profitable at the season's end.
2. The trader believes a team's potential to perform well during the season is high but still relatively unknown to others. This could lead to a future price increase for the team token when the anticipated scenario unfolds.

Time to Buy!

Similar reasons might prompt a trader to hodl and start buying:

1. A trader may begin purchasing team tokens(from other traders) for teams that are performing well and expected to finish in positions rewarded with USDC (e.g., the top 7 in EPL).
2. The trader believes a team's potential to excel later in the season is high but still relatively unknown to others. This could lead to a future price increase for the team token when the anticipated scenario unfolds.
